The village, whose origins date back to the fifth century BC and of which there are traces in the various dominations (Celtic, Roman, Francs, Spanish and Austrian) that have followed in the territory, owes its current composition to a profound restructuring occurred from 2008 to 2013 that has managed to reconcile the modern needs of functionality and energy saving (geothermal, insulation, energy class B) with respect and recovery of original partitions: all strictly applying the rules and materials of Bio Building.
The entire project aimed to create an Oasis where man and the earth share a rhythm of natural life based on mutual exchange: "the Earth feeds the Man who cares for the Earth"; the objective was achieved through the biological and biodynamic cultivation of 14 hectares of land, where ample space was reserved for ancient varieties of fruit; today we find in the 120 Oasis variety of apple, 60 of pear, 40 of figs: a living biodiversity museum.
With the same criterion the animals are raised: pigs, hens and cows.
All surrounded by 6 hectares of forest.
All activities, agricultural, catering and accommodation, are well under way and growing.
