Lucca, on the Freddana hills, 1700 estate, consisting of several nuclei, the country villa of about 1000 sqm, the mill of about 150 sqm and the farm of about 1500 sq. Everything has been completely renovated in the 2001, keeping the style and features, with original flooring and doors. The main farmhouse is elevated on two levels, beyond the cellars and the serviced apartments on the attic floor. The farmhouse, completely restructured, is divided into three apartments, on the ground floor, from a large reception room. The mill, currently used as a civilian home, still has the mill intact and restored. The estate is surrounded by a 350.000 sqm park with olive groves and gardens, with two sources of drinking water, the 200 sqm pool in a relaxing corner and the private chapel. The first nucleus of the Monsagrati Estate was acquired by 1696 by Girolamo III ° Parenzi (1644-1713) groom of Anna Maria Van Diemen, daughter of a wealthy Amsterdam merchant and niece of Gaspare Van Diemen governor in Batavia of the Dutch East India Company . It is to be assumed that this should be the current place used as a stable and inserted into the largest complex called Farm. The stone structures and columns of Matraia are certainly from the second half of the sixteenth century, like the doorposts of an interior door. Shortly after Girolamo III ° Parenti bought the most substantial part of the land by Massimiliano Lodovico and Guglielmo Dal Portico for 6.500 shields and the following year for other 3.000 shields he acquired other land plots. At Girolamo's death, the property, which at first had to be assigned to his second son, Paolo Antonio, instead came into the legacy of the eldest son Jacopo Giuseppe (1682-1763). To Paolo Antonio, who died in the 1749, many papers have to be documented in the Farm. The latter was expanded twice in 1733 and 1749 as indicated by the entries at the entrance of the stable and the mill.
In addition to the lands in Monsagrati, the property also extended near the Commune of Orbicciano.
