Historic typical Florentine villa in the immediate vicinity of Florence surrounded by large vines.
A short distance from Florence and in the Florentine Chianti area known for its vines and olive trees, we find this historic villa dating back to the 1400 surrounded by the land of about 16 hectares.
The villa stands in the middle of its own grounds and once through the entrance gate it shows itself in its beauty. Surrounded by the garden part of the land, it shows the typical pattern of Florentine villas. The entrance leads us into a large room with a fireplace, from this room starts a corridor that runs around the inner loggia that floods it with light and air and that on the other side disengages the various rooms, in fact continuing along this corridor we find the kitchen with the typical old-fashioned fireplace, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study.
Through one of the glass doors that we find along the corridor leads to the covered terrace overlooking the internal loggia, from here a particular stone staircase allows us to reach the ground floor, where on one side we find the productive part with the cellar and the orciaia and on the other the entrance of the other wing of the villa. This other part of the villa has on the ground floor the area for service personnel with a bedroom, a bathroom and a small living room / kitchen; on the first floor a large room that could be connected to the main living room of the villa, the sleeping area has 3 double bedrooms and the bathroom,
On the ground floor a small private chapel bears witness to the noble past of the villa.
Condition and finishes
The villa is in a good state of maintenance despite the fact that time has left its mark in some parts of the house, while the structure is generally in good maintenance conditions.
The land belonging to the villa is about 16 hectares, of which about half is planted with Chianti Classico, in one part of the land there is the olive grove, while the part of the land closest to the villa is kept as a garden, in a part of this could be a swimming pool.
Potential for use
The villa lends itself to being inhabited by a family that wants to live in the countryside but a short distance from the city, in a quiet but not isolated area. Another solution could be the development of the villa as a farm / agritourism, renting out rooms to guests and continuing the agricultural activity.
