Inside the Montagnola Senese National Park and surrounded by over 250ha land, this unique and exceptional property is a true 19th century village that represents a small ecological paradise.
Historical sources place the birth of the main building of the estate around the year 1.039 d. C. as a military tower. The structure was later transformed into a villa during the 16th century. The property has belonged for almost 500 years to the Ptolemies, an ancient and illustrious Sienese family, and has been converted by the current owners into a prestigious residence.
The property is located in a quiet and panoramic position, in a secluded but not secluded area. Cerbaia is about a 20 minutes drive from Siena, the provincial capital. All the necessary services can be found in the village of Sovicille, about 5Km, the Golf Club Bagnaia is only 20Km. Places of interest such as the Terme di Petriolo and the famous Abbey of San Galgano can be reached in about 35Km. Florence airport is only 80Km.
The estate, made up of large grounds and well 11 buildings erected at different times, remained intact in the original structure.
