Once a farmhouse abandoned, this farmhouse lies amidst a thousand hectares of natural reserve, an incredible beauty location that offers a 360-degree view of the Val d'Orcia with its wintry pastures, monasteries and small fortified villages.
Renaissance city, the birthplace of Pope Pius II, is probably the most renowned and most important artistic center of the whole Val d'Orcia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the 1996. All services are less than 10 minutes by car and places of interest such as Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d'Orcia and Montalcino are less than 20Km. Siena, seat of the offices of the Province and of the Court, is about 55Km. Chiusi Scalo station is 25Km, the airports of Florence and Rome are respectively 120Km and 200Km.
Inside the main structure there are the seven rooms with cream-colored stone floors, new generation mattresses with luxurious white luxury linens, massive showers featuring Santa Maria Novella products, Chianti Cashmere and Hotel Sirenuse Eau d'Italie. In some of the rooms there are single bathtubs overlooking the valley. The completely new kitchen is equipped with professional home appliances and is designed as the center of the main common area located on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a second common area with a large open fireplace. An additional room with private bathroom and living area is located in an annex.
There is an 72 square meter infinity pool with an edge facing the west across the vast valley, a hot tub and a covered pergola to dine outdoors and relax.
Condition and finishes
The structure has been renovated by architects from Florence and London who have reinvented the "rustic" aesthetics (dark woods, heavy fabrics, windows, etc.) of most of the Tuscan houses, creating instead a modern and luminous villa with prestigious materials traditional.
Potential for use
Property is now used as a very productive accommodation but could be easily used as a private and prestigious holiday home.
