The cottage of about 300 sq. It is developed on two levels. On the ground floor, the old stable that still preserves the old groceries, and the premises where it was once produced and preserved the wine, nowadays used as warehouses but already home-made. On the first floor, accessible with original travertine staircase, there is a living room consisting of 3 large double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with Tuscan fireplace, dining room, attic and loggia. Inserted into the building with access from the square, there is the wood-burning oven and in close proximity to the old well-cistern. Adjacent to the main building is a partially renovated annex that could be intended for a caretaker's home.
A few meters from the house there is a swimming pool of 6x12 meters, covered in Bisazza mosaic and border in rusticated travertine. The property includes about 6 ha of land which includes a rich cultivation of olive trees, wheat fields and woods with old trees. The mild climate and the tufaceous nature of the land give rise to an almost zero acidity oil, recognized among the best in Italy.
Condition and finishes
The stone of the place has been used to art for the construction of the farmhouse and the numerous dry stone walls that manage the slopes of the land. On the entire structure, conservative restoration work was carried out aimed at maintaining pre-existing walls; therefore the ceilings are presented with wooden beams and original bricks, terracotta floors (wood-fired furnace) of the type used by the Superintendent for the restoration of historical monuments, with great visual effect. The property is served by municipal water supply, electricity and natural gas heating.
