Gufram is an Italian brand of furniture known worldwide for forcing the limits of industrial design. With the the spirit of radical design and countercurrent experiments related to aesthetic, technological and material research, Gufram has achieved seats and furnishings that have entered the collective imagination: playful, subversive and dissecting products from 'anima Pop deliberately conceived as anti-design elements.

Gufram was born in Turin as a craftsmanship where the maingrances of upholstery, interior decoration and furnishing furnishings meet the international artistic avant-gardes with the intent of giving birth to a new way of understanding modern furniture. From 1966 produces design icons which have taken shape and value of uniqueness through the contamination of the industrial design approach, the craftsmanship and the creative excellence of art.

Also defined home sculptures able to interpret a point of contact between the world of art and design, the unmistakable Gufram furnishings as well the Mouth sofa, Pratone chaise longue and the Cactus coat rack (just to name a few) are kept in the most beautiful homes and in the the most influential museums in the world.

With the acquisition in 2012 by entrepreneur Sandra Vezza, the head office is moved Barolo, in the Langhe, World Heritage Site of Unesco, a place of excellence in world food and wine. With Charley Vezza's artistic direction, Gufram has experienced an ambitious relaunch through a new commercial and communications strategy culminating in the 2016 with the 50 anniversary celebrations of the company.

Through special collaborations, the latest products and Carat Exposure international of recent years, Gufram has recovered its precious cultural heritage, gave new lymph to her unconventional spirit and enlisted new enthusiasts and collectors on all five continents.

Today Gufram returns to be an important and authoritative voice out of the choir; with its nonconformist approach from life to new style icons even out of the furnishing world contaminating all design territories by passing fashion all 'automotive, to all that concerns l'contemporary aesthetics.
